General

What are your hours of operation?
Our hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm EST. Please call customer service at 724-837-0530.

Where is your company located?
Greensburg, PA (45 mins east of Pittsburgh). We serve customers nationwide and can ship to most any location in the US within 1-3 days.


Products & Ordering

What types of products do you print?
We print just about anything on paper including posters, postcards, brochures, booklets, business cards, catalogs, presentation folders, labels and many other items.

Can I place my order and have my graphic designer upload files separately?
Yes, you can place an order first and then have your graphic designer upload files later. Easy upload instructions are provided with each order.

Can I track my order history online or check on the status of an open order?
Yes, each user at your company who places orders can view their own order history. Click on a job to see it's current status.

How do I get an instant quote?
First look at the catalog where you can find pricing. If you don't see what you were looking for there, please send your project inquiry to info@fotorecord.com

What if I have a project with variable data?
Please provide the artwork and a spreadsheet with the variable data and we will build your order. We can implement thousands of data points into a file that we print effortlessly.

What if I need my order shipped to more than one location?
Yes, we can provide custom fulfillment services and pack different quantities to be sent to hundreds of different locations. We can also insert additional components into the material we print.

I need my order in a few days. Can you help me?
Whether you need LTL, UPS, or FedEx – we'll meet your deadlines. We also have shipping contracts and can often ship it next day for a lot less than you would pay. Please contact customer service for assistance with on your order.

How long does it take to get a proof?
You will receive an electronic proof within 1 business day after we receive your art files. If you want a printed proof it can be overnighted to you.


File Transfer

How can I upload my files?
After you place your order, you will be directed to a file upload page. If you are not ready to upload your files at that time, you or someone else can upload the files later. A proof will be provided within 1 day after we've rec'd the artwork.

What is the largest file I can upload?
We accept files up to 1 GB via File Upload. For files larger than this, please contact customer service for special file upload instructions.

Files Types We Accept
We accept most types of print files related to graphics and design 
PDF, JPEG, TIFF, AI / EPS, PSD

Some artwork charges may apply to accepting artwork in other formats for programs such as Indesign or Publisher.
Artwork is billed at the rate of $175 per hour. 

Upload Instructions
Make sure the resolution of your artwork is 300 dpi or higher. Artwork lower than 300 dpi will reproduce pixelated or grainy. Low-res art is fine for a website, social media or an email blast but not for print. If you are collecting your files in Indesign/Publisher please make sure to include fonts and images, plus a printed sample of how the document should look and/or a PDF file. 

Tips for Uploading 
The following tips are intended for graphics professionals:

  • Embed Fonts
  • Include Images
  • Convert text to outlines (Illustrator)
  • Don't use trapping
  • Avoid transparency in front of spot colors
  • Generate PDF/X-1a:2001 files when possible
